LA BOURSAIE is a lovely 16th century former cider farmstead set in the very heart of the beautiful Pays d'Auge region of the Calvados departement of Normandy. Nestling into the southern slopes of a picturesque valley with meadows, pastures, orchards and woodland, LA BOURSAIE has a picture postcard view across a valley of ancient manors and villages. Our five charming and characterful half-timbered cottages, built in the traditional Colombage style typical only of this region, are set around a spacious pretty courtyard. Relax under an apple, pear or ancient walnut tree whilst enjoying a refreshing glass of farm cider or Calvados. Stroll through wildflower meadows up into the fairy tale woods, rich in wildlife (red squirrel, buzzards, owl, deer, fox and badger).
